Death: a frontier finale?

An escape – release from pain?

Perhaps

a state within which to dream?

Or just another door

 - neither escape,

nor forgiveness,

nor release,

save that

which we give

ourselves.

Meditation and Dreams

I ponder; I reflect.
and then
pragmatic,
practical, and
... too old,
I move on; I adapt.
But then,
I meditate
and old dreams
- impractical,
illogical,
unsensible,
are with me yet.
